Eagle Point Youth Football and Cheer (formerly Pop Warner) is a youth football and cheer program for children grades 1st through 6th.
Our mission is to teach the fundamentals of football and cheer, along with many life skills in a fun, safe and structured environment. We teach the importance of having excellent sportsmanship on and off the field, while emphasizing the importance of academic success.
Our league is a nonprofit organization. Our association would not be possible without the support and help by parents, volunteers, community, and sponsors. We always encourage parents and community members to get involved in this great program.
Rogue Valley Youth Football (formerly Pop Warner) was formed in 1996 and has grown throughout the years in the Rogue Valley.
We have 6 associations: Ashland, Phoenix, Medford, Central Point, Upper Rogue and Grants Pass.
Our Mitey-Mite division is our youngest division. The purpose of the Mitey-Mite division is to develop first year players for youth football. It is specifically designed to be fun, safe, and instructive introduction to organized football that will inspire these players to continue with youth football. Although scores will be kept, no standings will be kept for Mitey-Mites and no champion shall be declared. Mitey-Mite teams may get the opportunity to play at Autzen Stadium in Eugene.
Each year our Junior Pee Wee, Pee Wee, and Junior Midget divisions have a chance to play for the Rogue valley championship at Speigelberg and a state championship located at Autzen Stadium in Eugene.
We have three state champion titles for Upper Rogue Youth Football: 2010 Head Coach Kinyon, 2009 Head Coach Charlton and 2007 Head Coach Magee.
2012 Head Coach Don Marsh's Junior Pee Wee won the Rogue Valley Championship.
2013 URYF introduced the cheer program that is open for all kids kinder through 8th grade!
URYF Board of Directors: These are our voting board members; in the event of a tie, the president will vote to break the tie. URYF allows up to 13 board members at any given time. See URYF bylaws.
